Euro 2012 SemifinalsJune 27, 2012 by Marc Jerbs

After last week's four day quarterfinal matches, only four teams are left for a chance to advance in the EURO 2012 championship match. The four teams that will contend for a slot in the final match are Spain, Portugal, Germany and Italy.

The 1st semifinal match will begin on Wednesday and will feature Spain against Portugal. Spain must first stop Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo for them to have a chance to earn a trip in the EURO 2012 championship match. Spain's manager Vicente Del Bosque has all the tactics to correctly defend the flamboyant Ronaldo in dominating the game.

For Portugal, they expect their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to lead them against Spain. Letting teammate Nani roam around and move in position unexpectedly could provide Portugal enough unpredictability in their offense.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Spain as the favorite to beat Portugal and possibly book their entry in the EURO 2012 final game. Expect Portugal to work hard and give it all and possibly score an upset.
