2014 World Cup Qualifying:Playoffs

On Friday, the eight remaining national teams from UEFA will battle it out in the first game of the 2014 World Cup Qualifying Playoffs. Belgium, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, England and Spain have already qualified after topping their groups during the World Cup Qualifying Group Stage matches.

Those who placed 2nd in each group will now play for the last four remaining slots for the 2014 Word Cup. The eight countries that qualified in the playoffs were Iceland, Greece, Portugal, Ukraine, Croatia, Romania, Sweden and France.

It would be an interesting playoff match since the eight playoff bound teams have equal chances to go to the 2014 World Cup. Iceland will go up against Croatia, Greece will face Romania, Portugal will take on Sweden and Ukraine will meet France.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Croatia, Greece, Portugal and France as the favorites to win the first leg of the 2014 World Cup Qualifying Playoffs this Friday.
