2014 World Cup Qualifying

On Friday, the member countries of the Union of European Football Associations will play in the Group Stage qualification for the 2014 World Cup.

Fifty teams will compete for thirteen slots at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The teams were divided into eight groups of six teams and one group of five. The nine group 1st placers automatically qualify in the World Cup while the eight best runners-up will compete in a two part playoffs that will determine the other four teams that will qualify.

The nine nations that currently lead in their respective groups are Belgium, Italy, Germany, Netherland, Switzerland, Russia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, England and Spain.

Some of the intriguing matches on Friday would be Croatia against Belgium, England faces Montenegro, Germany meets Ireland and Netherlands plays Hungary.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Croatia, England, Germany and Netherlands as the favorites to beat their respective opponents this Friday.
